What is LiDAR-Vision Perception Technology?
LiDAR-Vision Perception is a technology that combines LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) with vision-based systems to perceive the surrounding environment.
- It utilizes LiDAR sensors to capture precise distance measurements.
- Combined with visual information from R1’s two cameras, it enhances perception capabilities.
- This fusion of LiDAR and robot vision enables the R1 to: accurately perceive objects, detect obstacles, navigate autonomously in various environments.
What is the mowing efficiency of the Oasa R1 per hour?
Oasa R1 can mow approximately 500㎡ per hour.
What type of lawn is the Oasa R1 suitable for?
The Oasa R1 is built to suit almost any lawn, offering a flexible mowing solution for different grass types and yard conditions. Whether your lawn is lush and dense or fine and short, the Oasa R1 provides a smooth and efficient mowing experience.
Can the Oasa R1 mow wet grass?
The Oasa R1 features an IP66 waterproof rating, but it is not intended for mowing wet grass. Its design protects against accidental splashes rather than prolonged exposure to moisture. Using it in wet conditions may reduce its lifespan and harm the lawn.
Why does the Oasa R1 use a reel blade?
Advantages of Using a Reel Blade:
- Provides a cleaner cut, reducing blade tip discoloration and maintaining grass health.
- Supports precision trimming with a smaller cutting range.
- Allows for lower mowing heights, making it suitable for low-cut lawns.
- Covers a larger cutting area per reel rotation, with minimal gaps between the blade and the machine, enabling efficient edge trimming.
Is the battery of Oasa R1 replaceable?
The battery of the Oasa R1 is designed to be replaceable, but we do not recommend doing so without professional guidance.
Can the cutting height be adjusted? What is the range?
The Oasa R1’s mowing height can be adjusted through the app, with a trimming range of 3 inches to 0.5 inches (76.2 mm to 13 mm).
How often do I need to replace the blades?
Oasa R1’s reel blade has a service life of 3 years. With its self-resharpening feature, there’s no need to replace the reel mower within this timeframe apart from exceptional circumstances. Thanks to our proprietary Voiceprint Detection Algorithm that determines blade-sharpness from vibrations, the reel blade of the R1 can automatically resharpen itself after completing the mowing task.
How do I clean and maintain the Oasa R1?
Oasa R1 boasts an IP66 waterproof rating. With its intuitive design, you can simply open the top cover of the unit without the need to lift the machine, and then rinse the R1 and its reel blade directly.
How do I connect the Oasa R1 and the app?
You can connect the Oasa R1 to the Oasa App using a Bluetooth-enabled iOS or Android smartphone. The Oasa App provides a detailed step-by-step guide for the connection process.
How can l create a map of my lawn?
There are two ways to create maps:
Auto Mapping:
- When the R1 is installed and fully charged, users can select ‘Start Auto Mapping’ in the app.
- The R1 will then autonomously identify and map the lawn.
Manual Mapping:
- If there are no tangible boundaries such as fences or walls, users can use the app to remotely control the R1 along the edges.
- This allows users to manually create the map.
How do I turn off the Oasa R1?
The Oasa R1 remains in a low-power state while in the docking station. To turn it off, remove the robot from the docking station and press and hold the round physical button.
What is the recommended charging voltage for the Oasa R1?
The Oasa R1's power adapter is compatible with a voltage range of 100V - 240V. For safety and optimal performance, please use only the original charger.
